Updated Child and Adult Flu Invitations 2014
Posted by Matt Bradstock-Smith on 16 August 2014 03:04 PM

We have produced two new recall templates based on the recommended text for this Autumn's national flu immunisation program and merged to work with Vision and DocMailer. This includes an invitation letter for the new nasal spray for 2-4 year-olds. They can be downloaded from your usual login. You do not need to edit either letter in any way unless you want to. All you have to do is match them up to the relevant groups in Vision.

DocMailer is free to all INPS Vision users.

Keep Your Email Contacts Up To Date
Posted by Matt Bradstock-Smith on 20 February 2013 01:32 PM

If your email address changes please let us know – and you won’t miss important update and renewal messages. Likewise if your contact person changes, please let us know.

We can handle up to three email addresses per practice. We recommend that you make use of this opportunity so that if one of you is on holiday, or off sick, or you have a change of personnel, important messages won’t be missed.

Every year we lose contact with a few practices who have not kept their contact details up to date. Don’t let it be you: send us your three preferred email contacts on support@surgerysoft.com now.

Also, to make sure you receive our messages and they don't end up in you Junk Email folder, please add our email addresses - support@surgerysoft.com and support@qofcountdown.com - to your Safe Senders list. In Outlook go to Actions/Junk Email/Junk Email Options and Click on the Safe Senders tab and add us there.

SurgerySoft DocMailer - SurgerySoft Announces Free Software Offer
Posted by Matt Bradstock-Smith on 09 September 2012 07:17 PM

SurgerySoft DocMailer - quick, cheap and easy flu invites and QOF recalls!

Working in partnership with NVUG and cfhDocmail, SurgerySoft (the creator of QOFcountdown and TextMailer) is proud to bring you SurgerySoft DocMailer - a bulk mail manager for Vision and cfhDocmail - for FREE.

What is SurgerySoft DocMailer?

SurgerySoft DocMailer allows you to send bulk mailings to members of a Vision Group quickly, easily and cheaply. SurgerySoft DocMailer saves you money and staff time. Letters are mail-merged, printed, stuffed and posted – all for less than the 50p cost of a second-class stamp (currently 42p including vat per letter)!

SurgerySoft DocMailer makes it very easy to export mail-merge details from Vision directly into the cut-price mail service cfhDocmail. The letters are printed and sent from a secure facility. So no more hours spent printing letters and stuffing envelopes for flu invites and QOF recalls. And no more expensive paper, toner and staffing costs.

You could use cfhDocmail without SurgerySoft DocMailer by manually processing Vision Groups into csv files and uploading them to the cfhDocmail website. But SurgerySoft DocMailer is FREE and makes the whole process so much easier and quicker. Just a few button presses to select your Vision group and your letter template and SurgerySoft DocMailer takes care of the rest, uploading all the data to the cfhDocmail servers.

So what’s the catch?

There really isn’t one! SurgerySoft DocMailer makes mass-mailing cheap, convenient and very straightforward. So get started on your flu reminders and never look back!

How can it be free?

SurgerySoft DocMailer itself is free! SurgerySoft is working in partnership with cfhDocmail and the development and ongoing funding is paid by commission from cfhDocmail at no additional cost to you. Your mail charges will remain as advertised on their website.

How can I get it?

SurgerySoft DocMailer is available to all SurgerySoft customers and NVUG members free of charge - just use your usual login to access the download.

What about security and information governance?

See here for more information: http://www.surgerysoft.com/cfhdocmail-informationgovernance.html

INPS approval

SurgerySoft DocMailer has INPS approval for LAN practices and is going through the 'delivery into service' process for VES.
